The show was produced for Jeff Immelt as a GE Global Update for all GE employees and owned properties. NBC New Media designed a complete show package for the event including animated backgrounds, crosstalk boxes, lower thirds, Email Questions and a LIVE bug. The show featured live feeds from 3 locations which enabled employees to ask questions of Jeff Immelt.

Playback of the animated backgrounds during the show was achieved using a four channel, Pinnacle Thunder Box. These disk based systems allowed us to render directly to the boxes accross the network and play out the clips out without having to touch tape in the process.
