NBC's Olympic Marketing division wanted to make a compelling presentation to sell advertisers on the benefits of the NBC network's Olympic coverage. They desired a system with a 0% crash rate and foolproof technical setup, as well as full screen animation and video and high end audio. With these demands, a traditional laptop was definitely out of the question. So we made a cutting edge DVD presentation full of 3D animation and broadcast video for Salt Lake City in 2001 that ran on a standard issue portable DVD player. In 2003, we were asked to make another Olympic DVD for the Olympic in Athens, Greece. The NBC Olympic Marketing division raised the bar once again, demanding more intricate animations and content. The 2nd DVD combined 3D animation, video and audio editing, and creative charts with a faster turnaround. Once again we met the challenges and delivered a DVD that was better than requested.
This
project was definitely a production challenge, but the results were
fantastic. So far, audience after audience has been completely blown
away. On follow up calls, the clients always remember the NBC pitch as compared to other Powerpoint or other less compelling presentations.

Every slide has an animated background that brings life to even the blandest of slides. Also in between each slide is a custom rotoscoped transition ranging from Olympic skiers flying by the screen to 3D logos.
