This animation was a Christmas animation that aired on the TODAY Show wishing it's viewer's a Happy Holiday's.
New
Media assisted the On-Air Graphics Department with technical and creative
experience. The characters (Santa and Reindeer) are Illustrator cells
assembled and animated in After Effects. The backgrounds are 3D animation's
made with Maya and exported via a Toon-Shader to give it a cartoon look
to match the characters. Everything was composited on the Flame, this
is also where the snow and glimmer effects were added.
