The NBC Store, located across the street from the TODAY SHOW and in the heart of Rockefeller Plaza, has quickly become a "Must See" attraction in New York City. But it wasn't easy getting there. NBC New Media produced the following for this monster project.

Have you ever been interviewed by THE TONIGHT SHOW's Jay Leno? Done a weather report with the TODAY Show's Al Roker? Or perhaps you've gone on a Wild Desk Ride with LATE NIGHT's Conan O'Brien? No? Well the next time you are in the NBC Store, you can. Through the magic of television, you can walk away with a video tape of all these exciting encounters with NBC personalities. On the head of each tape is a countdown we made.

THE GLOBE THEATER

NBC New Media was involved with the GLOBE THEATER inside and out. The globe is a giant sphere inside the NBC Experience. The inside of the globe can hold a 20-30 person audience for a panoramic video and surround sound experience. NBC New Media produced several animations and elements for this movie. So the next time you are in the store, make sure you check it out.

As for the outside of the globe, it is covered from ceiling to floor with millions of little LED lights. Short "eye candy" animations play on the globe 24 hours a day. The lights are best viewed in dim light from the outside of the store, so we turn up the brightness at night.

Millions of LED lights cover the Globe Theater.	The NBC Experience, 9 months and many, many late nights later.

The NBC Experience Countdown and the Globe Theater Animations were created using MetaCreations Infini-D, Adobe Photoshop, Premiere and After Effects.
