NBC New Media, founded in 1994, is an internal department within NBC. Our mission is to blur the boundaries of "the box" or the limits of television and computers. We specialize in taking technologies to new heights and providing innovative solutions for our clients both within NBC as well as for outside companies.

This department has been a part of many exciting projects throughout the years. Additionally we have established ourselves as professional consultants to non NBC clients who seek new applications of technology for their projects.

Its "state of the art" resources include, but are not limited to, HDTV graphics suites, serial digital I/O workstations, digital audio & video switching systems, and on-site web staging servers. We also have complete access to NBC's New York Studios for video and photo shoots. In addition to these facilities, NBC New Media has unlimited access to the vast media libraries and resources of NBC Archives and NBC Broadcast Creative Services.
